Checklist

This checklist is designed to ensure that all content meets the required standards for clarity, accessibility, and consistency. Use this list to verify that each element of your content aligns with the guidelines before finalizing your work.

  • The content is written in active voice and present tense.
  • All headings use sentence case and don’t have bolded or linked words.
  • Each image includes a caption and ALT text.
  • The content is cross-linked to internal references.
  • Code is enclosed in code blocks with a proper class assigned or inline code blocks.
  • UI items mimic the UI and are highlighted in bold.
  • File names, extensions, and directory paths are enclosed in inline code blocks.
  • Steps are formatted in ordered lists.
  • Names of products and tools adhere to their creators’ capitalization standards, and the first instance of each is linked to its homepage.
  • The final section is titled “Summary”.
  • Google Docs style tags have been removed.
